2027: APC Will Reclaim Oyo — New Chairman Adeyemo

Former Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Moses Alake Adeyemo, has declared that the All Progressives Congress is determined to reclaim the state in the 2027 governorship election.
Adeyemo made the statement during his inauguration as the chairman of the party in Oyo State on Friday.
He served as deputy governor under the late former governor Abiola Ajimobi between 2011 and 2019.
Adeyemo and 35 other party officials were elected during the party’s congress held earlier in the week at the Obafemi Awolowo Stadium.
Speaking after his inauguration, Adeyemo said members of the party have resolved to mobilise support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He stated that the party remains focused on reclaiming Oyo State in 2027 and described his emergence as chairman as another opportunity to serve the party.
Adeyemo added that he and other party leaders will work to strengthen the party and contribute positively to its growth.
He also maintained that the current atmosphere of unity and cooperation within the party would be sustained before, during and after the next party primary elections.
Adeyemo expressed optimism that the APC would secure overwhelming support for President Tinubu while also working towards winning back Agodi Government House in 2027.
