Fagbenro-Bibire Empowers NSCDC, Police with Office Equipment, Computer Support

Honourable Abayomi Fagbenro-Bibire, founder of the Hope Also Need Help Foundation, has once again shown substantial support to security agencies in Ibadan South West Local Government with the donation of executive chairs to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps office in the area.
The donation, which was meant to improve the working environment of officers, was made to the office of the Divisional Officer of the Corps.
Polity Reporters gathered that the gesture followed the earlier donation of a computer set and printer to the Nigeria Police Apata Division to assist officers with administrative duties and documentation work.
Fagbenro-Bibire, who was represented during the presentation by the Secretary of Ibadan South West Local Government, Honourable Sunday Raphael, explained that the support became necessary because security agencies remain central to the safety of lives and property within the community.
He noted that officers attend to residents every day by receiving complaints, preparing reports, and responding to issues affecting public safety.
According to him, such responsibilities require serious commitment as well as access to the right equipment that make the work easier and more effective.
The leading House of Representatives aspirant for Ibadan Southwest and Northwest Federal Constituency added that the executive chairs donated to the Civil Defence office would help improve the comfort of officers who spend long hours attending to official duties and interacting with members of the public.
“I believe this will help create a better office environment where officers can carry out their responsibilities with ease,” he said.
Speaking further, the unequalled humanitarian stated that the computer set and printer donated to the Apata Police Division would assist officers in handling documentation and maintaining important records.
He explained that modern policing relies heavily on proper documentation which includes recording statements, preparing case files, and storing official information for reference.
“Hence, the availability of digital tools such as those donated to the NPF would enable officers to prepare reports more quickly while ensuring that records are properly organized,” he said.
He, however, expressed strong belief that the support would improve the working environment of officers as they continue their responsibility of protecting lives and maintaining peace within the community.
In response, the NSCDC appreciated Honourable Abayomi Fagbenro-Bibire for always remembering the security agencies, noting that his gesture goes beyond his background as a retired United States Navy veteran and shows his natural disposition to always do good and give back to society.
