Iran Warns Trump Over Possible War Escalation

Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, has warned that any attempt by former United States President Donald Trump to escalate tensions would be met with a strong response from Tehran.

Araghchi made the remark on Saturday as hostilities between Iran and the United States entered the seventh day.

Trump had earlier warned that Iran could face severe military action and hinted that the list of potential targets might be expanded.

In reaction, Araghchi stated that if Trump truly desires an escalation of the conflict, Iran is prepared to respond accordingly.

The rising tension began last Saturday after the United States, alongside its ally Israel, launched air strikes on Iranian territory.

The strikes reportedly led to the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader and several other senior government officials.

Since the attacks, both sides have continued exchanging missiles and drone strikes, with the confrontation claiming numerous lives.

The ongoing conflict has heightened fears of a broader regional war as diplomatic efforts to calm the situation remain uncertain.
