In a Twitch livestream with comedian Carter Efe early on Saturday, Osimhen shared his thoughts.
“I owe everything to God, but there are some people who guided me along the right path,” Osimhen explained.
“When it comes to football, everyone knows I draw inspiration from Didier Drogba, as well as Odion Ighalo,” he added.
Osimhen also reflected on his first encounter with Mikel Obi when he joined the Super Eagles squad, recalling how the veteran player made a strong first impression.
“I saw him after we ate, approached him, and said, ‘Senior man, I’m coming to your room.’ He told me to follow him right away,” Osimhen recalled.
“He invited me to his room and gave me some money. I can’t say how much, but he gave me pounds,” he concluded.
