2027: Nasarawa Governor Announces Plan to Contest Senate Seat

Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, has confirmed his intention to contest for the Nasarawa North senatorial seat in the 2027 elections.

Sule made this announcement during a Sallah visit from members of the State Executive Council at his residence in Gudi, Akwanga Local Government Area, as reported by Daily Trust.

The governor explained that political leaders and traditional rulers from Nasarawa North had been encouraging him to run for the Senate.

“Given the pressure from our leaders, and not wanting to ignore their wishes, I have decided to contest when the time comes,” he stated.
