NELFUND Denies Reports of Stipend Increase from N20,000 Monthly

The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has clarified that it has not increased its monthly upkeep allowance for student beneficiaries.

In a statement on Monday, NELFUND debunked rumors claiming the stipend had been raised to N25,000.

The statement, signed by the Director of Strategic Communications, Oseyemi Oluwatuyi, confirmed that the approved stipend remains N20,000.

Students were urged to disregard unverified reports and rely on official NELFUND communication channels for accurate updates.
