King’s Spirit: Pastor Tolu Fayomi Reveals Three Stages of Kingship

Pastor Tolu Fayomi of CAC Revival Centre, Ago Iwoye, has outlined three essential stages that every child of God must pass through to fully operate in kingship.
He made this known while delivering a word charge on the first day of the 2026 National Youth Retreat of the CAC Revival Centre National Youth Ministry themed “King’s Spirit.”
Polity Reporters gathered that the annual retreat, which began on April 1 (yesterday) at Christ International Camp, Oru Ijebu Ode, will run through April 3.
While ministering on the theme, Pastor Fayomi first laid a solid foundation on the principles of kingship before introducing the three stages that bring it into full expression.
He explained that the first stage is the stage of mentality, where an individual receives the mindset and carry the consciousness of being a king, stressing that without this inner formation, the reality of kingship remains out of reach though God has called believers into such a position under Christ who is the King of kings.
The man of God went further to describe the second stage as the stage of identity, where the mentality of kingship becomes internalized to the point that a person begins to see, carry, and conduct themselves as a king in everyday life, with that consciousness influencing decisions, posture, and personal expression.
According to him, the third stage is the stage of reality, which naturally flows from the first two stages, as a person who has fully received the mentality and identity of a king begins to manifest it through actions, thoughts, and overall lifestyle, displaying divine qualities such as wisdom, power, authority, patience, and … spiritual understanding that are consistent with kingship.
This was even as he stressed that the Spirit of a king can only rest upon a heart that has been prepared to carry it, urging the youths to cultivate a heart posture that can sustain such divine impartation.
In a related development, the servant of God encouraged the gathering with conviction that every youth, regardless of their field or pursuit, has been called by God to exercise dominion and influence within their sphere.
He concluded by making it clear that the King’s Spirit is ingrained in the Kingdom, and that entry into this reality begins with being in Christ through genuine repentance, which remains the foundational step for anyone who desires to walk in this dimension.
