Trump warns Iran of heavy attacks

US President, Donald Trump has warned that Iran could face severe military strikes, suggesting that new targets may soon be added.

Trump made the statement in a post shared on his Truth Social platform.

He claimed that Iran had apologized to neighbouring countries and pledged not to launch attacks against them following what he described as continuous military pressure from the United States and Israel.

According to him, Iran could face heavy strikes during the day.

Trump also suggested that areas and groups previously not considered as targets are now being seriously reviewed for possible military action.

He said the development followed what he described as Iran being heavily pressured by the joint military actions of the United States and Israel.

Trump further claimed that Iran had assured neighbouring countries in the Middle East that it would stop firing at them.

The US leader also stated that several countries in the region had expressed appreciation to him over the situation.

He said some regional leaders had thanked him for the outcome of the events.

The conflict reportedly began last Saturday after the United States and its ally Israel launched attacks on Iran.

The strikes reportedly led to the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader and several high-ranking government officials.

Iran has since responded by launching missile attacks toward Israel and some neighbouring countries as tensions continue to rise in the region.
