US Warns of Potential Terror Attacks on Facilities, Schools in Nigeria

The United States Embassy in Nigeria has warned its citizens of an imminent terrorist attack on US facilities and American-affiliated schools in the country, especially in Abuja.
In a security alert posted on its official website on Monday, the US Embassy advised its citizens to exercise increased caution.
The notice specifically urged Americans in Nigeria to remain vigilant when visiting US diplomatic missions and US-affiliated schools.
It stated that the Embassy recommends varying travel times and routes when going to the US Embassy in Abuja, the US Consulate General in Lagos, and US-affiliated schools.
