King Mitchy’s apology a setup to target me – VDM raises alarm

Social media personality and activist, VeryDarkMan, has voiced concerns for his safety after King Mitchy, a popular socialite, issued a public apology to him.

VeryDarkMan speculated that Mitchy’s apology could be a “decoy” designed to mislead the public.

Earlier, DAILY POST reported Mitchy addressing VeryDarkMan directly, expressing regret for confronting him and acknowledging his advocacy for a better Nigeria.

“To VeryDarkMan, my brother, I see what you’re fighting for, you’re fighting for Nigeria and we can make Nigeria a better place. I’m sorry for coming at you like that. Maybe now I understand you better,” Mitchy stated, adding that he needs more support than criticism.

In response, VeryDarkMan took to Instagram on Sunday, suggesting the apology may have deeper motives.

“This apology from King Mitchy cannot just come from nowhere. During that period, Lege Miami made a direct video about me but later deleted it, claiming he received calls from above. Her apology now points me in the right direction,” he remarked.

He also claimed he is being specifically targeted and warned that Mitchy and Seyi Tinubu should be held accountable if anything happens to him.

“If anything happens to me, hold Mitchy and Seyi Tinubu responsible. This looks like a decoy to me,” he stated.

He further suggested that the apology was part of a plan to set him up, adding that Mitchy’s actions were aimed at clearing the air for something bigger.

VeryDarkMan also alleged that Mitchy had been sending intimidating messages to people who knew him during their dispute.

“There’s something from that time when this whole situation occurred, Mitchy was sending messages to people that know me, and those messages were sent to me,” he claimed.

He pointed out that while Seyi Tinubu addressed the issue on Instagram, he neglected to mention this aspect, adding that Mitchy’s apology failed to address the intimidation part, which leaves him fearful for his safety.

VeryDarkMan also warned against possible attempts to frame him for criminal activities.

“If you hear they found drugs or Igbo in my car or anyone’s possession, it’s them setting me up. If you hear I’ve been involved in fraud, money laundering, or anyone sent me money, it’s them setting me up.”

“Anything at all, or if you hear I have a firearm, like a small pistol in my car, it’s all part of their plan to set me up,” he said.
