Ancelotti Explains Why Neymar Was Omitted from Brazil Squad

Brazil head coach Carlo Ancelotti has clarified why Neymar was not included in his latest squad.
Ancelotti released the squad on Monday ahead of their international friendlies against France and Croatia later this month.
“Neymar is not at 100%,” Ancelotti said, as quoted by ESPN, explaining the star player’s omission.
He added, “If he can be at 100% physically, he can be there. Neymar could be at the World Cup.”
Ancelotti emphasized that Neymar needs to continue working hard, playing, and maintaining his physical condition.
The last time Neymar, a former Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain player, represented Brazil was in 2023.
