Barcelona took the lead early with a clinical finish from Raphinha.
Newcastle’s Anthony Elanga equalized, but Barcelona regained the advantage through Marc Bernal.
Elanga’s second goal looked to set the match level at halftime, but a penalty for Barcelona, converted by Lamine Yamal, gave them the lead again.
The second half saw Barcelona dominate with goals from Fermin Lopez, Robert Lewandowski (scoring twice), and Raphinha.
Barcelona join Arsenal, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, and Sporting in the quarter-finals.
