Deal Was Possible Before US-Israel Strike on Iran — UK Adviser

UK Security Adviser Jonathan Powell has expressed that an agreement between the US and Iran was within reach before the US and Israel launched their attack on Iran.
Powell, who participated in discussions between the US and Iran, found Tehran’s offer on its nuclear program surprisingly significant.
He was present during the final talks in Geneva and saw the Iranian proposal as a step forward, noting that it could have stopped the rush toward war.
Two days after the talks, with a date set for further discussions in Vienna, the US and Israel launched an attack on Iran.
