Trump Sticks to China Trip Amid Iran War
President Donald Trump confirmed he will go ahead with his planned trip to China, despite the ongoing U.S. military operation in Iran.
At a meeting with Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin, Trump stated he would visit in about five to six weeks.

He mentioned that his team was working with China on the trip, adding, “They were fine with it.”
Trump expressed enthusiasm about the meeting, saying he looked forward to seeing President Xi and that Xi seemed eager to meet him as well.
Meanwhile, Beijing dismissed concerns over the potential delay, stating that the U.S. and China were in communication regarding the dates of the visit.
They also refuted any reports suggesting Trump had asked China to help break the Iranian blockade in the Strait of Hormuz.
