Obi, Kwankwaso Collaborate

Peter Obi, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), has announced a collaboration with Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso to help revive Kano’s industrial strength.

Speaking in Kano, Obi noted that their focus is on revitalizing industrial hubs like Bompai and Sharada, along with plans to bring back the Bank of the North.

The collaboration was part of a gathering at Kwankwaso’s Millar Road residence, attended by prominent political figures such as Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State and former Bayelsa Governor Senator Seriake Dickson.

The event is seen as a precursor to Kwankwaso’s potential defection from his current party, the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), following legal setbacks.
