Tinubu Was Abroad During PDP’s Battle Against Military Rule — Olawepo-Hashim

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim, has claimed that President Bola Tinubu was abroad drinking cognac when the PDP was actively fighting military rule.
Speaking on Channels Television’s ‘Sunday Politics’, Olawepo-Hashim harped on the resilience of the PDP during the military era, contrasting his own involvement with Tinubu’s absence.
He revealed that many founding members of the PDP were either imprisoned or engaged in direct confrontation with the military regime.
