Day 2: The King’s Spirit Brings One Out From Grazing Land To Grace Land — Pastor Joseph Olusanmi

Pastor Joseph Olusanmi has spoken on one of the powerful workings of the King’s Spirit, explaining that it brings a person out of a grazing land and leads such a person into a grace land.
He relayed this while ministering to youths who gathered at the Christ International Camp for the ongoing youth retreat which began on April 1 and will conclude at midnight on Saturday.
According to him, the King’s Spirit is the divine force that lifts a person from obscurity and places that person in a position prepared by God.
He explained that the life of David clearly established this reality as David was tending sheep in the field before God brought him forward for kingship.
He said David was in the grazing land taking care of animals when the call of God moved him into a grace land where his presence became necessary before the anointing could proceed.
Pastor Olusanmi noted that the gathering waited until David arrived before the oil could be poured on his head, showing that the King’s Spirit changes a person’s relevance and position.
He added that the King’s Spirit carries both grace and glory and that grace enables a person to accomplish notable things that later attract honour and recognition.
According to him, grace prepares a man for exploits while glory becomes the visible result that follows those exploits.
He further explained that the King’s Spirit does not look at a person’s background or social position when God decides to raise someone.
He pointed to the life of Saul who came from the least tribe in Israel yet became king when the Spirit of God came upon him.
Pastor Olusanmi warned that there is great embarrassment that follows the loss of the King’s Spirit.
He said Saul’s downfall began when he lost the Spirit that once distinguished him before God and men.
He explained that when Saul lost the King’s Spirit, God replaced him with David whose rise followed a different path.
According to him, Saul encountered kingship while searching for the prophet Samuel, but David’s story unfolded in the opposite direction.
He noted that Samuel went in search of David and refused to sit down until David appeared before him.
Pastor Olusanmi said this shows how the King’s Spirit can change the direction of events in a person’s life.
He stressed that grace always comes before glory and that glory cannot hold sway without grace.
He therefore urged the youths present to place premium priority on having the King’s Spirit and guard their relationship with God jealousy.
This was as he encouraged them to pursue a deeper walk with God so that grace and glory will be evident in their lives.
In the same vein, he challenged the youths to move beyond surface commitment and build a genuine connection with God because Heaven recognises those who remain connected to Him.
