2027: Peter Obi Uncertain About Securing ADC Presidential Ticket

Former presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, has expressed uncertainty about securing the presidential ticket of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) ahead of the 2027 elections.

In a video message to his followers, Obi said that getting the ADC’s presidential ticket is not guaranteed.

He said: “Someone asked me how I know for sure that the ADC will give me the presidential ticket. I cannot be certain. What matters is that we are committed to a cause.”

Obi also reflected on the political situation, wondering how they ended up in this place and what could happen if they decided to stop pushing forward with their project.

He assured his supporters that he remains committed to his goals and hasn’t been discouraged by reported threats.

The former Labour Party presidential candidate praised his supporters for their resilience, acknowledging the challenges of working within opposition politics in Nigeria.

Obi thanked everyone who has stayed loyal, even though they haven’t seen immediate rewards.

However, he remains uncertain about the future, especially concerning political alliances and commitments.
