2027: Bibire Renews Call for Mass Voter Registration, Declares Omi-Tuntun 3.0 Sacrosanct

Leading House of Representatives aspirant for Ibadan Northwest and Southwest Federal Constituency under the umbrella of PDP, Honourable Abayomi Fagbenro, popularly known as Bibire, has called on the public to register and collect their Permanent Voter Cards ahead of the 2027 general elections, stressing that Omi-Tuntun 3.0 remains sacrosanct and must be absolutely protected.
He said one clear and sure way to secure Omi-Tuntun 3.0 is through active participation in the electoral process, warning that “without a PVC, you have no say.”
Bibire made this call on Thursday during a courtesy visit to Ward 12 in Ibadan Southwest Local Government, where the Continuous Voters Registration exercise is ongoing.
He explained that his visit was to encourage the people and strengthen their resolve to take part fully in the process.
He also charged party members to return to their various streets and communities to mobilise those who are eligible but are yet to register, making it clear that collective effort is required to achieve the desired goal.
He equally urged Nigerian youths to treat the registration exercise with urgency, noting that the voter card remains a fundamental requirement through which the current pace of development under Governor Seyi Makinde can be sustained through a successor who understands and upholds his pro-masses leadership direction.
Bibire maintained that Omi-Tuntun 3.0 represents a continuation of progress that must not be compromised under any circumstance.
He warned that the state cannot afford to return to a Pharoah-like administration of heavy burdens where the rejected government placed undue pressure and unbearable anti-people policies on the people and made life difficult across different sectors.
Residents who received him expressed appreciation for his visit and described him as a leader who stays close to the people and shows commitment to their welfare.
Some of them offered prayers for his political ambition and encouraged him to continue his efforts towards development and service to the people.
