The King’s Spirit Colonizes, Brings a Life Under the Government of the Spirit — Reverend Aderibigbe

Reverend Temidayo Aderibigbe has shed light on one of the clear effects of possessing the King’s Spirit.
He explained that the first evidence of the King’s Spirit in a person is its authority to rule over that individual’s life.
He made this known during the afternoon session of the third day of the recently concluded 2026 National Youth Retreat held at Christ International Camp in Oru-Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.
He described the King’s Spirit as a colonizing force that takes over a life and brings it under complete submission to the government of the Spirit.
According to him, once this Spirit takes charge, it establishes its rule so strongly that the individual begins to live and act in line with the standards of God’s kingdom.
He added that this transformation touches every part of a person’s life and extends its tentacles of influence to family, relationships, and every other area connected to that person.
He noted that the lifestyle of such a person will naturally stand apart from that of the world because the person will begin to find it difficult to conform to worldly patterns.
He stressed that such a life is guided entirely by the Spirit, just as Jesus was led, in line with the scripture that those led by the Spirit are sons of God.
The preacher also amplified the need for young people to place God above everything else and make Him their highest priority at all times.
He supported this by pointing to the opening words of the Bible which show that God comes first in every beginning, urging youths to seek God before making decisions about marriage, education, and other life choices.
He explained that when David spoke about seeking God early, he was not referring to time of day but to giving God the first place before anything else is done.
He encouraged young people to make it a daily habit to seek God immediately after waking up and before engaging in any activity.
He shared his personal experience of choosing a different academic path after seeking God, which led him to where he is today.
He revealed that although he had a strong background in commerce and could have become an accountant, he followed God’s direction and studied pharmacy instead.
He concluded by urging every young person to desire the distinct Spirit of the King, noting that it is available to anyone who seeks it regardless of gender.
