Kwara Community Targeted Again by Bandits
Armed bandits attacked Oyate community in Oro-Ago Divisional area of Kwara state on Monday.
This marks the second attack in two weeks, following a previous attack on the same community.

Last Friday, bandits disrupted Muslims’ prayers, but local security personnel resisted the attack.
During the Monday attack, the bandits engaged in sporadic shootings in an attempt to intimidate locals, but were unsuccessful.
Security sources confirmed the attackers crossed from neighbouring Kogi State to carry out their operations.
The attacks have continued despite the launch of ‘Operation Savannah Shield’ by the Nigerian Army to combat crime in the region.
