Soludo Sworn in for Second Term as Anambra Governor

Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has officially been sworn in for his second term in office.
The swearing-in ceremony took place at Dr. Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka, attended by several dignitaries from both within and outside the state.
Soludo arrived at the venue at 11:18 am, accompanied by key figures including Vice President Kashim Shettima, and former Presidents Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan.
The event also saw the presence of elder statesmen such as former Secretary General of the Commonwealth, Chief Emeka Anyaoku, and the prominent traditional ruler, Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi.
At exactly 11:50 am, Soludo took the oath of allegiance and the oath of office, which took about five minutes.
His wife, Dr. Mrs. Nonye Soludo, stood beside him as he took both oaths.
By 11:55 am, Soludo signed the oaths in the presence of the Chief Judge of the state, amidst applause from the crowd.
This marks the beginning of his second term, which will run until 2030.
