Trump Comments on Iran’s New Leader Amid Death Speculations

President Donald Trump has addressed rumours surrounding the health and potential death of Iran’s new Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei.

Trump stated that there are conflicting reports suggesting that Mojtaba is either critically injured or has passed away.

He mentioned that some sources claim he is severely disfigured with a lost leg, while others assert that he has died.

Mojtaba reportedly sustained severe injuries during the US-Israel strikes that began the ongoing conflict.

His father, former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was also killed in the attacks.

Trump noted the absence of the new leader in public since he assumed office, which has fueled these speculations.

He commented, “He’d spew hate from his chair, but we haven’t seen him at all.”

The U.S. president also noted the uncertainty surrounding Iran’s leadership and expressed that there are people eager to negotiate.

However, the true identity of the current leadership remains unclear.

In a statement last week, the new Supreme Leader vowed to avenge the deaths of his family members, especially his father, and continue their legacy.
