Hon. Fawole Celebrates Eid al-Fitr with Muslims in Somolu

Hon. Fawole Ayowole Ezekiel has communicated his profound congratulations to Muslims across Somolu as the holy month of Ramadan hits the home stretch.
In a message he signed and made available to Polity Reporters, Hon. Fawole wished all Muslim brothers and sisters a joyful celebration of Eid al-Fitr, putting it out there that “now is the time for you to let your hair down after a month of spiritual discipline.”
He spoke highly of Ramadan, saying it’s not just about grinning and bearing the fasting but also about taking stock, doing a deep dive into one’s faith, and getting back to the drawing board when it comes to spiritual commitment.
The politician equally praised the grit, devotion, and sacrifices made by Muslims during Ramadan, saying they really went the extra mile to observe the fast.
This was as he acknowledged the challenge of keeping up with daily responsibilities while fasting, noting it’s no small feat and truly shows the strength of one’s faith and moral fiber.
In his message, Hon. Fawole urged everyone to walk the talk and make kindness, charity, and compassion a way of life that lifts the community as a whole.
He also pointed out that charity should not be a one-time affair during Ramadan, but something that should carry on after the month, stressing that lending a hand to those down on their luck should become part of daily life moving forward.
Hon. Fawole prayed that the blessings, mercy, and rewards of Ramadan would continue to knock on the doors of every household in Somolu long after the month had ended.
He, on behalf of the E.A. Fawole Foundation, wished the Muslim community of Somolu a peaceful and prosperous Eid.
