Iran Vows Revenge After Trump Ultimatum Over Hormuz Strait

Iran’s primary military command has vowed to retaliate if the United States targets critical Iranian assets, following President Donald Trump’s ultimatum.

Trump issued the warning on Saturday via Truth Social, demanding Iran fully open the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours or face U.S. action.

Trump threatened to strike and destroy Iranian power plants, starting with the largest.

Ebrahim Zolfaghari, spokesperson for Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, stated that if Iran is attacked, it will target U.S. and allied energy infrastructure, IT systems, and desalination facilities in the region.

The warning follows a weekend attack on Israel, in which Iranian missiles breached defenses and struck Dimona and Arad in southern Israel, causing severe casualties.

The attack occurred shortly after Iran accused the U.S. and Israel of bombing its uranium enrichment complex in Natanz, vital to its nuclear program.

Iranian lawmaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf declared that Israel’s failure to defend Dimona signals a new phase in the conflict, writing on X that Israel’s skies are now “defenseless.”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called the attacks a “very difficult evening” and pledged to continue targeting enemies while offering assistance to the victims.
