US President Donald Trump has stated that negotiations with Iran are still ongoing, both directly and indirectly.
Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One on Sunday, Trump said he believes a deal with Iran could be reached soon.

“I do see a deal in Iran, yeah. Could be soon,” he remarked.
However, the President acknowledged the possibility that no deal may be reached, citing Iran’s unpredictability.
Trump also emphasized that he has numerous alternatives, particularly when asked about the possibility of deploying troops without Congressional approval.
“I just have lots of alternatives. We have tremendous numbers of ships over there. We don’t need them all because of, you know, the power,” Trump added.
