Osimhen Refuses Discharge After Surgery, Opts for Extended Care

Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen refused to be discharged from the hospital a day after undergoing arm surgery.
TV100 commentator and Turkish journalist Haluk Yürekli revealed that Osimhen made the request to stay in the hospital for further care after his surgery last Monday.
Yürekli explained, “Victor Osimhen underwent surgery last Monday morning. It was initially announced that he would be discharged the next day. However, Osimhen requested that he remain in the hospital to continue his treatment, hoping this would help him recover faster.”
A security guard was stationed outside Osimhen’s room, with even his immediate family members being restricted from visiting.
He was discharged later that afternoon after his request for extended care was accommodated.
Osimhen sustained the injury during Galatasaray’s Champions League Round of 16 second-leg loss to Liverpool earlier this month.
