Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State has dismissed six political appointees in a bid to enhance governance and improve service delivery.
The decision was communicated by the Secretary to the State Government, Samuel Jatau.
The appointees removed include Timothy Golu, Gwottson Fom, Nanbol Rimvyat, Nannim Langyi, Paul Datugum, and Nimchak Rims, who held various liaison and advisory roles.
The Chairman of the Plateau State House of Assembly Service Commission, Johnbull Shakarau, has also been suspended over allegations of misconduct.
The suspension will remain pending the outcome of investigations, and all affected officials have been instructed to return government property in their possession.
