Saudi Arabia Threatens Military Action Over Iran’s Continued Attacks

Saudi Arabia has issued a renewed warning to Iran, demanding an end to missile and drone strikes on its territory.
The Kingdom stressed that its patience is running out and reserved the right to take military action in response to Iran’s ongoing attacks.
Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Saudi Arabia’s foreign minister, told reporters in Riyadh on Thursday that Iran’s attempts to pressure its neighbours with strikes would backfire.
He said, “The kingdom is not going to succumb to pressure, and on the contrary, this pressure will backfire…we have reserved the right to take military actions if deemed necessary.”
This statement comes after Iran threatened to strike energy infrastructure across the Gulf region in retaliation for Israeli attacks on its South Pars gas field, one of the world’s largest.
Iran’s Revolutionary Guards have also warned of counterattacks targeting energy facilities in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar.
