Fagbenro-Bibire Urges Christians to Embrace Sacrifice, Tolerance on Good Friday

Honourable Abayomi Fagbenro-Bibire, a prominent member of the PDP, has called on Christians in Ibadan Northwest/ Southwest Federal Constituency and nationwide to deeply embrace the essence of Good Friday by adopting key values such as sacrifice, love, tolerance, and selflessness.

The seasoned politician made the call in observance of Good Friday, a significant day in the Christian calendar that commemorates Easter.

“I join our Christian brothers and sisters in celebrating Good Friday, a day that remembers the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ on Calvary for the salvation of humanity,” Fagbenro-Bibire said.

He further urged, “During this time, I encourage everyone to think about the fundamentals of Good Friday by taking on the values of sacrifice, love, tolerance, and selflessness.”

Addressing the current economic climate, Fagbenro-Bibire noted, “There has never been a better time to practice these virtues, especially as we face severe economic challenges that have left many in tough circumstances.”

“As we observe this year’s Good Friday, let us not forget the importance of supporting one another during these difficult times, while remaining firm in our love for God and our country.”

On behalf of the Bibire Peoples Vision Association, he concluded, “I send my best wishes for a blessed and peaceful Good Friday to all our Christian brothers and sisters across Nigeria, and most especially in Ibadan Northwest and Southwest Federal Constituency.”
