Trump Sets Conditions for Israel’s Attacks in Iran

President Donald Trump of the United States has stated that Israel will not attack the South Pars Gas Field unless Iran attacks Qatar’s liquefied natural gas facilities again.

Trump shared this in a post on his Truth Social on Wednesday.

He warned that if Iran strikes Qatar, the US will retaliate by massively targeting the South Pars gas field.

“No more attacks will be made by Israel pertaining to this extremely important and valuable South Pars Field unless Iran unwisely decides to attack a very innocent, in this case, Qatar,” Trump said.

He emphasized his reluctance to authorize such destruction due to its long-term implications on Iran but stated that he would not hesitate to act if Qatar’s LNG facilities are attacked again.

Trump also noted that neither the United States nor Qatar was informed in advance about Israel’s attack on the South Pars field.

Iranian state media confirmed Israel’s attack on the South Pars Gas Field, one of Iran’s largest gas resources and a crucial lifeline for the nation.
