You Do Not Live Your Life Again When Christ Dwells In You — Pastor Tobi Olorunesan

Pastor Tobi Olorunesan, a youth pastor at Christ Apostolic Church Revival Centre, has explained that anyone in whom Christ dwells no longer lives for himself or herself but lives the life of Christ.
He made this known today, Sunday while relaying God’s word to the congregation.
Polity Reporters reports that the theme for the month of April at CAC Revival Centre worldwide is “Christ in me.”
Speaking in line with the theme, the man of God said once Christ dwells in a person, that individual ceases to live a personal life and begins to express the life of Christ.
He stated that from that moment, it is no longer the individual at work but Christ working through the person.
He further drew a clear distinction between being in Christ and Christ dwelling in a person.
According to him, a person can be in Christ and still live with personal tendencies while engaging in Kingdom activities.
He explained that when Christ fully dwells in a person, the Zoe life of God takes over, leading to a visible change in character, conduct and what have you that others can easily recognize.
The convener of the global movement called Revived Youth Movement supported this with a familiar song that declares that “… this life that I have, is the life of Christ in me …”, stressing that such a life is no longer personal but fully yielded to God.
He went on to explain three key operations (3Es) that must be understood in the reality of Christ dwelling in a believer.
He identified these operations as 3 Es: Endowment, Enablement, and Empowerment.
Explaining endowment, he said it is the impartation of purpose that comes when Christ begins to dwell in a person.
He described it as the gift, quality, and resources given at the beginning of one’s walk with Christ, as seen in Ephesians chapter four verse eight.
He added that the first thing that becomes active in the life of such a person is purpose, noting that every believer has been given a definite assignment by God.
He stressed that it is important for every individual to discover that purpose, as God does not invest in a life without expectation.
Speaking on enablement, he described it as the grace given by God to function effectively in one’s calling.
He explained that this grace provides the strength and support needed to carry out divine assignments, as validated in Philippians chapter four verse thirteen.
On empowerment, he said that when Christ dwells in a person, such an individual receives the authority and capacity required to function in dominion.
He noted that such a person walks with boldness and confidence, fully aware of the authority made available through Christ.
He added that the presence of Christ in a believer means that the power and authority of Christ are also at work in that life.
He concluded by stating that the ultimate purpose of Christ dwelling in a person is to bring glory to God.
He confessed that where this is absent, it shows that the fullness of Christ’s indwelling is yet to be realized.
