Messi Hits 900 Career Goals

Lionel Messi reached the 900-goal milestone in his illustrious career after scoring in Inter Miami’s 1-1 draw against Nashville SC in the CONCACAF Champions Cup on Wednesday.

The Argentine star is only the second male footballer in history to achieve this feat, joining Cristiano Ronaldo.

Messi put Miami ahead with a powerful left-footed strike within the first 10 minutes.

However, Nashville’s Cristian Espinoza equalized, knocking Miami out of the competition.

It took Messi 1,142 games to reach 900 goals, while Ronaldo accomplished the feat in 1,236 matches.
