2027: ADC Guber Aspirant Raises Alarm Over Billboard Destruction

Chief Adegboyega Adegoke, a gubernatorial aspirant on the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Oyo State, has raised concerns over the destruction of his campaign billboards in Ibadan.

Adegoke, who also serves as the Aare Egbe-Omo Balogun of Ibadanland, made the announcement in a statement issued in Ibadan on Tuesday morning.

He recently left the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State to join the ADC.

The ADC chieftain said several of his billboards were destroyed just hours after he officially joined the party.

Adegoke claimed that the perpetrators acted out of fear of his growing popularity ahead of the 2027 gubernatorial election in the state.

He, however, stated that the attacks would not intimidate him.

He said, “Destruction of my billboards and other illegal acts will not deter me.”
