Kajola’s Pride: OMA Secures Seat in Oyo Youth Parliament

Olalekan Michael Ajibola, politically known as OMA, has been officially approved as the Parliamentarian representing Kajola State Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly Youth Parliament.

His application, submitted on April 19, 2026, was confirmed with an approved status following the conclusion of the selection process.

According to the official remarks, Ajibola scored 88 in the third Youth Parliament screening exercise, a performance that placed him ahead of other applicants from the constituency.

He was subsequently selected to represent Kajola State Constituency based on his strong performance and overall assessment during the screening exercise.

The development occasions another step in his perpetual rise in student and youth leadership within and beyond the University of Ibadan community.

OMA is not new to leadership, having previously served as Public Relations Officer of the University of Ibadan Students’ Union, as well as Public Relations Officer of the Faculty of Law.

He also served with distinction as Sigma Chief, raising the Club to a position of notable acclaim during his laudable and successful administration.

Reacting to the development, OMA expressed profound gratitude to God and described it as a call to service for his constituency.

He equally dedicated the opportunity to the good people of Kajola State Constituency, adding that he remains committed to representing the best interests of young people and ensuring their voices are properly reflected in the Youth Parliament.
