Davido Mocks APC Leaders Ahead of Osun Rally
Afrobeat star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has reacted to the arrival of All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders in Osogbo, Osun State, ahead of the party’s governorship campaign rally.
Senate President Godswill Akpabio, APC National Chairman Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, and several governors from the ruling party arrived in the state to participate in the rally ahead of Saturday’s governorship election.
Among the governors who arrived in Osogbo were Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani.
The Minister of Marine and Blue Economy and former Osun State governor, Adegboyega Oyetola, had welcomed the APC leaders in a post shared on his official X handle.
Reacting to the post, Davido shared it and dismissed the possibility of an APC victory in the election.
Making reference to the biblical disciples of Jesus, the singer wrote: “If you like gather Jesus 12 disciples o ma LULE for the 3rd time.”
Davido’s uncle, incumbent Governor Ademola Adeleke, is seeking re-election on the platform of the Accord Party.
