AFN Denies Blocking Favour Ofili’s Nationality Switch to Turkey

The Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) has denied being responsible for World Athletics’ decision to block Favour Ofili’s attempt to switch nationality to Turkey.

In a statement on Friday, Maxwell Kumoye, the AFN spokesperson, clarified that the federation did not interfere with Ofili’s nationality switch.

Kumoye explained that World Athletics (WA) made its decision based on its independent findings, not due to any action from the AFN.
