BREAKING: FG Approves Allowance Increase for Civil Servants, Expands Welfare Benefits

The federal government has approved an increase in allowances and expanded welfare benefits for civil servants to boost morale within the public service.
At a press briefing on Friday in Abuja, Didi Walson-Jack, head of the civil service of the federation, announced that the review would affect workers under the consolidated public service salary structure (CONPSS) and the consolidated research and allied institutions salary structure (CONRAISS).
This decision aims for a broad-based impact across all cadres.
