Lagos APC Aspirant Samuel Ajose Withdraws from 2027 Governorship Race

Samuel Ajose, Lagos APC governorship aspirant, has withdrawn from the 2027 race.

He said the decision followed discussions with party leaders and was made to promote unity and discipline within the party.

“Everybody that constituted the leadership at the top sat me down, and when your elders are talking to you, you have to listen. You can’t work in isolation,” Ajose said.

He added that party members must operate within the rules and constitution of the APC.

“The party says this is what they want, and if you are going to work under the rules, tenets, and constitution of the party, I think you just have to listen to them so that you don’t get yourself into trouble,” he said.
