UNILORIN Sets August Date For Post UTME Screening

The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has announced the schedule for its 2026/2027 Post Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post UTME) screening exercise, fixing the Computer Based Test for August 13 to August 15, 2026.
The university disclosed that the screening exercise will commence on Thursday, August 13, and end on Saturday, August 15, 2026, as part of its admission process for candidates seeking entry into the institution for the 2026/2027 academic session.
UNILORIN also announced that the registration portal for both Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) candidates will close on Sunday, August 9, 2026, urging prospective applicants who are yet to complete their registration to do so before the deadline.
The institution stated that candidates who successfully complete their screening registration can begin printing their examination slips from Monday, August 10, 2026, to confirm their scheduled dates and times for the exercise.
According to the university, the examination slips will contain important details candidates need ahead of the screening exercise and applicants are advised to print them promptly once available.
The announcement was contained in a statement issued by the university’s Director of Corporate Affairs, Kunle Akogun, who quoted the institution’s Admissions Officer, AbdulKareem Kunle Sanni, as providing the latest update on the exercise.
The university advised candidates to complete all admission screening procedures through the official UNILORIN admission portal and ensure that all submitted information is accurate before final submission.
The Post UTME screening remains a key requirement for candidates seeking admission into Nigerian universities, with institutions using the exercise alongside UTME scores and other academic requirements to determine successful applicants.
UNILORIN urged all prospective students to adhere strictly to the announced deadlines and prepare adequately for the screening exercise.
