SA Security, Bibire Congratulates Wolekanle on Appointment as Chief of Staff
The Special Adviser to Governor Seyi Makinde on Security Matters, Abayomi Fagbenro-Bibire, has congratulated Bashorun Akinwale Akinwole, popularly known as Wolekanle, on his appointment as Chief of Staff to the Oyo State Governor.
Recall that Governor Seyi Makinde announced the appointment of Akinwole, a former Chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Service Commission, as Chief of Staff on Monday, 12 October 2026, subsequent to the resignation of his predecessor, Hon. Segun Ogunwuyi.
Reacting to the development, Bibire conveyed his felicitations to the newly appointed Chief of Staff and wished him a successful, impactful, and rewarding tenure in the service of Oyo State.
He further expressed confidence in Akinwole ability to leverage his wealth of experience and firm grasp of people-oriented politics in discharging the responsibilities of his new office, particularly in supporting the Governor towards the effective execution of his administration programmes, policies and developmental agenda.
The Special Adviser ended by wishing him the wherewithal needed to discharge the onerous responsibilities of his office in a manner that advances the collective interests and aspirations of the good people of Oyo State.
