Ibadan Northwest: Don’t Thank Me, Thank Governor Seyi Makinde — Fagbenro-Bibire Tells Beneficiaries of Free Petrol

Leading House of Representatives aspirant for Ibadan NorthWest and SouthWest Federal Constituency under the platform of the PDP, Honourable Abayomi Fagbenro Bibire has told hundreds of okada riders in Ibadan NorthWest Local Government who benefited from his free petrol distribution to direct their appreciation to Governor Seyi Makinde.
He made this known at Keto Filling Station today, Saturday, where he ensured that every motorcyclist present left with a good quantity of fuel.
Polity Reporters gathered that this humanitarian effort followed a similar exercise he carried out in Ibadan SouthWest Local Government, where he distributed free petrol to hundreds of riders at Bovas Filling Station.
Speaking, the grassroots politician said what was being done was a continuation of Governor Seyi Makinde’s efforts to support people during the current economic hardship.
He said, “What you are seeing here is not politics but a direct way to support our people just as we did in Ibadan SouthWest where we gave free petrol to other riders to ease the situation many are facing today.”
He added, “This is also to support the good work of Governor Seyi Makinde in caring for the people, so you should not thank me but thank the people’s Governor.”
The compassionate politician, however, urged the beneficiaries to pass on the kindness by reducing transport fares for passengers for at least a day or two as a way of helping others.
The retired United States Navy veteran also preached the gospel of Omi-titun 3.0 to the entire public, describing it as the right path to sustain the leadership style of Governor Seyi Makinde that puts the people first at all times.
In response, the beneficiaries communication profound gratitude to God and appreciated both Honourable Abayomi Fagbenro-Bibire and Governor Seyi Makinde for the support they didn’t expect but received.
One of the riders, who identified himself as Adebayo, said he thanked Governor Seyi Makinde for grooming Bibire to be a good disciple, adding that what he did shows he is a true follower of the governor, and he appealed to the governor to give him greater responsibility to serve the people.
Another beneficiary, Musa, said the effort proved that Bibire understands the struggles of the people, and he urged the governor to consider him for higher office, saying he believes he will do even more if given the opportunity.
A third rider, Sodiq, also thanked Governor Seyi Makinde for his leadership and support for the people, noting that Bibire has shown strong commitment and should be considered for bigger responsibilities to serve the people better.
The impossible-to-count riders united in prayers that God will continue to bless Honourable Abayomi Fagbenro-Bibire and Governor Seyi Makinde, and that Oyo State will continue to grow and prosper.
