BREAKING: Obi, Kwankwaso Supporters Launch ‘OK Movement’ for 2027 Presidential Election

Supporters of Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso have come together to form a new political movement ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
The movement, called the OK Movement, takes its name from the initials of Obi and Kwankwaso.
It was officially announced in a statement by the group’s National Publicity Secretary, Justin Ijeh.
The OK Movement said national renewal is not the responsibility of one tribe or region, but a shared duty for all Nigerians.
The group is committed to uniting Nigerians across ethnic, religious, and regional lines to tackle the country’s economic challenges, restore good leadership, and bring about meaningful change.
In the statement, the group pointed out the current economic hardships, the rising cost of living, and ongoing insecurity in the country.
The OK Movement described itself as a nationwide force for reform and national progress.
It also rejected the divisive politics of tribalism, regionalism, and religious sentiments that have long kept Nigerians apart.
The movement stressed that the nation’s true strength lies in its diversity, and unity is key to moving forward.
It further stated, “We are working from the grassroots up to create a country that works for everyone, based on integrity and competence.”
The group also referenced the third stanza of Nigeria’s National Anthem, saying it serves as their guiding principle: “Help us to build a nation where no man is oppressed.”
The OK Movement pledged to build a Nigeria where justice, stability, and peace are guaranteed through effective leadership.
The group has invited all Nigerians who believe in a brighter future for the country to join their cause.
This move occasions an important step in creating a strong opposition force for the upcoming 2027 elections.
