Fagbenro-Bibire Congratulates Cousin, Amosun’s Wife, on Installation as Yeye Moremi Oodua, Describes Her As Awesome Humanitarian

Leading aspirant for the Ibadan Northwest and Southwest Federal Constituency seat under the Peoples Democratic Party, Honourable Abayomi Fagbenro Bibire, has congratulated Chief Mrs Olufunsho Amosun, wife of former Ogun State Governor and current Senator representing Ogun Central, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, on her installation as the Yeye Moremi Oodua.

Recall that on Saturday, May 2, the Ooni of Ife, Adeyeye Ogunwusi, installed Chief Mrs Amosun as the Yeye Moremi Oodua.

Bibire, in a congratulatory statement he signed and made available to Polity Reporters, described the new Yeye Moremi Oodua as a woman of virtue, an outstanding humanitarian, and a philanthropist of high repute.

“As my cousin from my mother’s side, I have known you for many years, and I can confidently say that this recognition is a resultant effect of your unbending humanitarian efforts that have impacted countless lives, families, communities, and organisations, and it further gives credence to the fact that giving is part of who we are as a family,” he stated.

The PDP chieftain who noted that the title of Yeye Moremi is reserved for women of proven character, integrity, and service to humanity, affirmed that Mrs Amosun is best suited for the position because she wears the qualities of Moremi Ajasoro, who made great sacrifices for the liberation and protection of the Yoruba people.

“This title is conferred with careful consideration, and it validates your distinguished character, compassionate nature, and steadfast commitment to helping others, which undoubtedly stands in tandem with the indelible footprints of Moremi Ajasoro, a respected figure of courage and selfless service,” he maintained.

Bibire, while charging his cousin to see the new position as a platform to expand her good works and increase her impact on the society, expressed enough confidence that she will continue to excel in her avowed service to humanity.

He said, “I believe this new position will open even greater opportunities for you to spread the tentacles of your kindness and impact even more people, and I have no doubt that you will continue to surpass expectations through your evidential love for humanity.”
