Makinde Names Abayomi Fagbenro Special Adviser on Security

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has appointed Mr Abayomi Fagbenro as his Special Adviser on Security.

The governor also approved Prince Arowosaye Saheed Adeyemi as Board Chairman of the Pacesetter Mineral Development Company.

The appointments were communicated through letters signed by the Governor’s Chief of Staff, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi.

Mr Fagbenro previously worked at the Department of Defense, Army, Network Enterprise Centre, Fort Belvoir, Virginia, United States, from October 2007 to August 2012.

He received military training at Great Lake, Illinois, Chicago.

Fagbenro also attended East Coast Polytechnic Institute (ECPI) and Strayer University, where he earned a B.Sc. in Information Systems.

Governor Makinde congratulated both appointees and urged them to view their new roles as a call to service.

The appointments take immediate effect.
