Trump Visits China With Leading U.S. CEOs for Critical Talks

U.S. President Donald Trump arrived in Beijing this week, accompanied by some of America’s top business leaders, for what analysts call a high-stakes diplomatic and economic engagement with China.
This marks the first official visit to China by a sitting U.S. president in nearly ten years.
The trip comes as tensions rise over trade, technology, and security issues between the two countries.
The delegation includes major executives such as Elon Musk of Tesla and SpaceX, Apple’s Tim Cook, and BlackRock chairman Larry Fink.
Senior representatives from Meta, JPMorgan Chase, Boeing, Visa, Qualcomm, and Micron Technology are also attending.
The talks are expected to cover trade relations, artificial intelligence, semiconductor restrictions, investment opportunities, and wider economic collaboration between the United States and China.
Regional security concerns, including developments in Iran and the Strait of Hormuz, may also feature in discussions between Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Notably missing from the delegation is Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, whose company remains central to the ongoing U.S.-China dispute over advanced AI chips and export regulations.
Global markets and foreign policy experts are closely following the visit, as both nations aim to manage economic competition while avoiding further geopolitical conflict.
