Governor Adeleke, Leaders Escape Unharmed As Podium Collapse At Osun Rally

A campaign rally in Ijebu-Jesa, Osun State, was disrupted on Wednesday when the podium holding top political figures suddenly gave way.
Governor Ademola Adeleke, Deputy Governor Kola Adewusi, Accord Party leaders, and Imole Campaign Council spokesperson Pelumi Olajengbesi were on the platform during the collapse.
The incident happened during a musical performance, with social media footage showing the structure fall just as Governor Adeleke rose from his seat.
No injuries were reported, and the governor, his deputy, and other leaders quickly regained their footing and moved to safety.
The rally resumed shortly after, with supporters expressing relief that everyone was unharmed.
