Anambra Government Arrests Pastor Over Alleged Wife-Snatching, Bigamy Claims

The Anambra State Government has confirmed the arrest of Pastor Harrison Charles, founder of Day Spring Assembly in Awada, Onitsha, over allegations that he allegedly lured and took away multiple married women from their husbands.

The pastor is accused of engaging in forced wife-swapping within his congregation and reportedly taking several married women as personal partners, with most of the alleged victims said to be members of his church.

The arrest is part of an ongoing statewide crackdown on suspected fake pastors, an operation that has already led to the arraignment of at least eight clerics, with more victims reportedly coming forward with complaints.
