Bibire Commends Governor Makinde for Defending Democracy, Congratulates Turaki-Led Interim NWC

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, Honourable Abayomi Fagbenro Bibire, has applauded Governor Seyi Makinde for what he described as a firm stand in defence of democracy within the party, while also congratulating the newly appointed members of the interim National Working Committee led by Kabiru Tanimu Turaki.

He gave the commendation and relayed his profound congratulations in a statement he signed and made available to Polity Reporters.

The frontline aspirant for Ibadan Northwest and Southwest Federal Constituency seat under the umbrella of PDP, said the bold step taken by Governor Makinde and other leaders shows courage and a strong commitment to preserving internal democracy at a time when the party needs direction and stability.

He noted that moments like this test the strength of leadership, adding that the need to stand for due process and fairness remains the only way to sustain trust among party members.
