Tyson Fury Promises to Knock Out Anthony Joshua in All-British Showdown

Tyson Fury has vowed to stop Anthony Joshua when the two British heavyweights finally face each other later this year.

Fury insisted that Joshua’s chin cannot withstand the punishment he intends to deliver.

The fight is expected to take place in October or November, with Wembley Stadium in North London widely tipped as the venue.

Speaking to FurociTV, Fury said, “I’ll knock him out for sure. He will not be able to survive against me. He does not have any chin, and I will bang him on it because I am quicker than him and I am a better boxer.”

He cited Daniel Dubois’ recent fights to argue that Joshua is the only fighter among Dubois’ top opponents to have been knocked down.

Fury said, “Daniel Dubois’ last five fights have been Usyk, ‘Big Baby’ Miller, Hrgovic, Joshua and Wardley. The only one to go down was Joshua, so I will put him back in where he should be.”

Fury returned to the ring in April after a year-long retirement, defeating Arslanbek Makhmudov on points at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Joshua is scheduled to face Kristian Prenga in Riyadh on July 25 as his final tune-up before the Fury fight.

Promoter Eddie Hearn has warned that Joshua must fully process his past challenges before stepping into the ring against Fury.

Prenga, meanwhile, emphasized that the fight is not guaranteed, stating, “Everybody is talking about Joshua versus Fury as if this fight is just a formality, which is a very dangerous mindset in heavyweight boxing.”

Fans have taken to social media, with some backing Fury’s confidence while others are rooting for Joshua to prove his durability.

Analysts suggest the matchup would redefine British heavyweight boxing and add another historic chapter to both fighters’ careers.
